BlackBerry DM for Mac Issues

If you are like me, you might have installed the leaked version of BlackBerry DM for Mac. I was getting the following error:

Persistent store migration failed, missing source managed object model.

After a search, I found a link to a BB forum which contained a link to a KM. The KM resolved the error:

Here's the link: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB19682

Here's the contents of the KM link: ((((I did Option 1))))

UNBUZZing your Google and Protecting (somewhat) your Privacy.

Follow this link to learn how to turn Google Buzz off. Turn it OFF: http://www.geekosystem.com/turn-off-google-buzz-unbuzz/

There are a few more things you should do to protect your privacy:

1) Visit www.google.com/profiles. Click View Your Profile. Click the Edit Profile screen.

* There are 3 tabs: About me, Photos, and Contact Info
o On the About me tab, check out these options. (I have cleared the check-marks on all three)
+ Display my full name so I can be found in search
+ Allow people to contact me (without showing my email address)
+ Display the list of people I'm following and people following me

o On the Photos tab, there doesn't seem to be any Automatic opt-in of your photographs. Review the tab to make sure you're fine with anything it may want to display. I've checked and had no issue with this page.

o On the Contact Info tab, pay attention to the following:
+ Visit the "Who can see this information on my profile?" and clear any checks for sub groups you don't want having your info. (I cleared them all.)

* CLICK SAVE WHEN YOU ARE DONE

2) In general, you should routinely check out the settings in Google/Facebook/Twitter, etc. I don't like that Google doesn't allow YOU to RESTRICT when someone can add you to their list. They don't seem to have learned from the shortcomings of other large social sites. It's shameful, but I guess they have their reasons. Have fun and be careful out there.
